This senior design project focused on developing a mobile application to modernize student information access at California State University, Los Angeles. The system was built with React Native (Expo) for the frontend and Node.js/Express with MongoDB Atlas for the backend, featuring secure user registration, login, and profile management through JWT authentication. The application included an intuitive iOS interface integrated with backend API endpoints, while security measures such as password hashing and token validation ensured reliable data protection. The project demonstrated expertise in full-stack development, database integration, and secure authentication workflows, as well as effective collaboration and application of software engineering best practices.
